Welcome! I'm Danilo, and this is my blog dedicated to board games; expect reviews, deep dives, first impressions, and much more.

But first, a bit about me: it all started with the wildly popular Exploding Kittens , then I discovered the timeless classic Carcassonne , and eventually fell in love with Puerto Rico . Since then, I've been going down the rabbit hole — playing, collecting, and living and breathing board games.

As for the types of games we'll cover, expect a broad range: from party games and family games all the way to heavy complex games; because every game has its target audience, its group, and its purpose. I'll also make a point of shining a light on hidden gems, since discovering hidden and unknown titles is one of my favorite parts of this hobby. I tend to gravitate towards games with strong player interaction, direct or indirect, so multiplayer-solitaire games won't be covered here that often; that said, you'll find plenty of articles for true solo games and sections about solo modes.
